May is Bike Month and if you’re looking for a reason to get out and ride, look no further!
YPT Sacramento is hosting a Bike Scavenger Hunt, with prizes for the first place team and all participants (we hear there may be pairs of the coveted bike month socks up for grabs…) so check out the details below.
When: Sunday, May 21 from 10am – 1pm
Start Point: McKinley Library (outside) at 601 Alhambra Boulevard
End Point: SacYard Community Tap House, 1725 33rd Street
Cost: Free
Do I need a team? No, you do not need to already have a team assembled. We will group you into teams of four at the beginning of the event, and then explain the rules of the hunt.
Will there be snacks? Yes! You’ll need fuel for the hunt, after all. We’ll have some easy-to-pack breakfast snacks and waters at the meetup start.
Do I need a bike? Yes, you will need to be able to ride a bike with your teammates to complete scavenger hunt tasks. No driving from point to point will be allowed.
What if I don’t have a bike? That’s ok! We’ll have Lime drop off some e-bikes at McKinley Park for you to rent if you need a bike. We encourage you to borrow a bike from a neighbor or friend, too!
